Your table serving platter is painted on wood or mdf. Acrylic Paints are layered using fluidart techniques, and then the completed piece is coated in heat resistant resin. With the resin coating you can use this as a serving platter, making sure you place something like a cloth or plate betweeen the food and the platter.
Alternatively, you can put a hook on the back and hang it as a painting on the wall.
